🍑 Peach Cobbler Dump Cake - Weekly Recipe
Ingredients
3 (15 oz) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 TBSP vanilla extract
1 box white cake mix
1 ½ sticks salted butter
At least 1 tsp cinnamon (measure with your heart)
Cinnamon and sugar mixture (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Prepare the Peach Base: In a 9x13 pan, add the contents of two cans of peaches with their heavy syrup and the contents of one can of peaches that has been drained.
Add 1 tsp of cinnamon (or more, if you prefer) and 1 TBSP of vanilla extract to the peaches.
Cut up the peaches if desired, and then gently mix the peach ingredients together in the pan.
Layer the Cake Mix: Cover the peach mixture completely with the entire box of white cake mix. Do not stir the cake mix into the peaches; simply layer it on top.
Add Butter and Topping: Lay thin slices of the 1 1/2 sticks of salted butter evenly over the cake mix layer. Do not stir the butter into the cake mix.
Sprinkle a generous amount of the cinnamon and sugar mixture on top of the butter and cake mix layer.
Bake for at least 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and no powdered cake mix remains visible.
